UNITED FOR LITERACY WORKSHOPS AT PFLS
The Patient and Family Learning Space is pleased to partner with United for Literacy to host their Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) Preparation Program. The CAEC is Canada’s new high school equivalency program, aimed at supporting adults in their goal of gaining access to better job opportunities or admission to college or university. The Program will provide background, assessments, and instruction on each of the five CAEC subjects -- Reading, Writing, Science, History/Geography, and Math -- so participants will have a clear understanding of the CAEC requirements, what skills they currently have that will support their success, and where they need to improve. Classes are student-centered, guided by an enthusiastic instructor, supported by tutors, and free of charge. Three sessions will be hosted in-person in the Patient and Family Learning Space in 2025 on Tuesday Mornings, 10AM to 12PM.
Session 3: September 23rd to November 4th
Location: Patient and Family Learning Space at 1025 Queen St. West.
